SHIPPER/RECEIVER

Jones Machine Company, Inc. is looking for a qualified Shipping/Receiving clerk. This position is responsible for the daily shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies.

Shipping Receiving Responsibilities:

· Handles all shipments to customers including: counting, proper labeling, packaging and inventory of all parts.

· Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Engage with vendors and drivers for promptly unloading, receiving in and shipping out of material.

· Maintain our parts inventory on an excel worksheet.

· Ability to lift med heavy boxes. Nothing over 50lbs.

· Work closely with QC Department to ensure all outgoing shipments meet our customer standards.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Good working knowledge of computers and comfortable using word and excel documents.

· Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications/skills:

· Detail oriented, multitasker and organized

· Positive attitude

· Ability to work independently and with a team.

· Strong sense of time organization so as to meet deadlines.

· Must be able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Problem solver.

Education/Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Former machine shop experience preferred but not required.
